Your Data Rights
Our team believes that data control are rights that belong to you. Your data is not shared or sold to any third party. You may request an exported file or deletion of any stored information we hold about you, not including any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. To request deletion or retrieval of your data, contact the system administrator at damiller@carson.k12.nv.us.
Published Media and Content
Data such as published media and comments may be publicly or privately accessible for the presentation or review of content and is stored indefinitely unless the content is removed later by an administrator, editor, or user.
Internet Browser Storage
Small documents, used for convenience, called “cookies” are stored in your browser and are sent to our servers when you request a specific or general resource. The following are cookies that may be stored in your internet browser:
- Auto-fill cookies last for one year and store simple information such as your name and email address. You may opt in to this feature when leaving a comment.
- The login page cookie is automatically stored in your internet browser to see whether your browser accepts cookies, the cookie contains no personal information and is discarded when you close your browser.
- Login session cookies contain information about your login session for 2 days and screen display options for one year to avoid tedious setup when the website is refreshed. The remember me option makes your login session last two weeks, and all cookies are cleared when you log out.
